: 1) How can I get the notes of Recursively generated B-spline surfaces on "arbitrary topological" meshes? Someone has already asked this question on the discussion board before so here's what I told them: Well... you won't be able to find that paper on the web anywhere. It was published too long ago. Here's the reference for it. E. Catmull and J. Clark. Recursively generated B-spline surfaces on arbitrary topological meshes. Computer-Aided Design, 10:350--355, September 1978. You'll have to go to your local university's library and hope they have the CAD journal back to 1978 there. : 2) How can know on how to generate B-Spline surfaces on "abitrary topological" meshes in details(steps by steps--in MATHEMATICA)?
There is Mathematica code available on this website under the "Book" section that implements Catmull-Clark subdivision and other variations.
